Lu.Pa

“Lu.Pa” proposes a project that is summarised in the saying of design engineer Colin Chapman, “simplify and then add lightness”. The creators propose an intervention on the courtyard and skylight of the Arrels Foundation: an institution devoted to caring for homeless people in Barcelona. The aim of the intervention is to bring in and channel light in the space, allow air to get in to favour a cool environment and achieve greater warmth throughout the area. The proposed finishes are vinyls and ceramics, observing the tight budget for the work.
