The House of Bernarda Alba

“Circus: The House of Bernarda Alba” is a representation based on the play “La Casa de Bernarda Alba” by Federico García Lorca. The proposal embraces the contemporary, acrobatic, visual, poetic, dramatic and emotional circus. Comprised of a mix of techniques such as scripted theatre, dance and music, the project takes place in Barcelona’s Teatre Grec and both its set design and the atrezzo and wardrobe are halfway between the characters in the book and the animal world.
